This plastic feeding vessel not only resembles a standard frame, but replaces one in the deep hive body. It is placed next to the outside wall and filled with syrup. The wooden “caps” cover parts of the feeder, so that the bees do not just fall in and drown. The “ladders” are there, so that if a bee does fall in, it can use the ladder to climb back out.
